A full burn on a felt or premium wool hat refers to a heavy distressing technique where the surface is intentionally "caramelized" or charred to create a dark, weathered, and "crispy" appearance. Unlike light singeing used for finishing, a full burn affects the color and texture of the core material to provide a rugged "apocalypse" or vintage western aesthetic.
